Preschool-K Studio Guide: LAURA MORRISON

Mrs. Laura was born, raised, and went to college in Southern Oregon.  She has a degree in health and physical education, as well as a Montessori certification.  She has been teaching in a Montessori school for 11 years as a Preschool-Kindergarten mixed-age guide.  Mrs. Laura is married to the love of her life and has three beautiful children.  As a family, the Morrisons enjoy playing games together, and rafting as often as they can during the summer.  After over 11 years living in Idaho, she’s truly knows the Idahoan lifestyle and loves it!

1-3 Studio Guide: TAMARA KORSHAVN

Mrs. Tamara is a credentialed teacher with over 20 years of experience. She’s a certified reading and writing specialist, and her heart for inspiring a love for the written word is such a blessing to our students. In addition to her certification, Tamara carries a double masters in education with one in Special Education, and a true heart for learning differences. Tabitha has been married for 29 years to a wonderful man and together they have been blessed to raise three amazing sons who are now young adults. Tamara’s passion is teaching and working individually with students! She loves live music, hot yoga, and traveling. 

4-5 Studio Guide: BRIANA SMITH

Briana has worked in education for the last seven years. She has a BA in Child Development and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Additionally, she is trained in multiple multisensory approaches to learning, including Orton Gillingham. Briana is happily married with a 12-year-old son, a 9-year-old daughter, and a Doxiepoo. In her spare time, you can find her running to and from sports practices/games, hiking, camping, and exploring all that our beautiful state has to offer. As a bible-believing Christian, Briana is solidly grounded in her faith and it is her heartfelt mission to further foster the love of God in all His children.

6-12 Studio Guide: SORAYA MEJIA

Mrs. Soraya is a mom of 2 boys ages 9 & 12, and a devoted wife of 15 years.  She graduated from Chapman University in 2005 with a BA in Organizational Leadership. Growing up, she served alongside Sara as a missionary in Mexico, Beijing, and Okinawa, teaching English and working with disabled children.  She’s also been a Lead Counselor at Camp Cedar Crest for many years counseling children, ages 12-18.  As a Speaker & Outreach Director with Unity Ministries, she serves to further the mission to  bring the word of faith to women and children in crisis here in the Treasure Valley.  Her ministry involvement for the past several years has been focused with Nights of Unity.

Studio Aide: SARA ESFANDIARI

Ms. Sara is the warm, familiar face and the faithfully wise heart that lights up every student! Sara is a beautiful mom of two, including our junior high student, Solomon! She has a passion for youth and watching their beautiful hearts grow for the Lord and their minds grow into the gifts God has blessed within them. Not only does she have an exemplary work ethic, she comes with a wealth of entrepreneurial and real world service experience! She also carries a BA in Business Communication. If you see her around the school, she never misses an opportunity to love on and minister to our students and our team!

Operations Director: TARA BROOKS

Mrs. Tara is a credentialed teacher and holds a Masters in Education. She taught Mathematics in Middle School and High School for 10 years. She was Math department chair at Currie Middle School, and a member of the school leadership committee to develop a more student centered school culture. She was part of the Curriculum writing team for the district for Middle School Math. She has a Digital learning certification, is GATE certified and trained in implementing PLC programs in schools. She has experience in teaching Honors courses all the way to intervention courses to bring students to grade level and beyond. She was a Collegiate soccer player at a division 1 school and a green belt in Krav Maga. Prior to teaching she was an Account Coordinator for Estée Lauder South Bay territory. Trained in Talent Plus (train and motivate employees based on their gifts). Tara is a proud fire-wife with two beautiful children.

Executive Director, CEO & Founder: ASHLEY MEYER

Mrs. Ashley’s multi-faceted experience and education were perfectly crafted by God leading to a place only He knew would cross her path- owning a gift-based learning school! As a lawyer, law firm owner, entrepreneur, former efficiency consultant, mother, devoted wife, and committed follower of Christ, Ashley pulls together her passions for leading teams to bring together the best team possible for leading your children to their callings. Watching children’s lives change every day is her greatest blessing!  Ashley is married to her best friend and business partner, Eric, and together they have their three greatest gifts, Brian, Easton, and Brooklyn – their legacy. Both Ashley and Eric are deeply passionate about Christ-centered faith, hard work, integrity, developing resilience and fortitude, and finding purpose. Their mission is to raise happy, healthy kids, and leave a lasting impact on this world.
