🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes on Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to salute the brave men and women who have served and those who continue to serve our great nation with courage and dedication. We are eternally grateful for the immeasurable sacrifices made by our veterans to protect the freedoms we hold dear. Their unwavering commitment echoes the words of Jesus: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13, KJV).

As a conservative, Christian school, we are committed to instilling in our students the values of faith, honor, and patriotism. Let us all take a moment to pray for our veterans and their families, asking God’s blessing and peace upon them.

Thank you, veterans, for your service and sacrifice. You are true inspirations to us all.

An election night prayer…

Heavenly Father,

As we stand on the edge of this pivotal election, we come together as a community of believers, lifting our hearts and minds to You. In a world that feels increasingly divided, we seek Your guidance, Your peace, and Your truth. We know that elections and leaders will come and go, but You, Lord, are our constant—the one true King who reigns forever. Let this truth anchor us when we feel anxious or uncertain. Remind us, Lord, that while earthly leaders may make decisions that impact our lives, it is You who ultimately guides the course of history.

Father, help us to live out our faith by being examples of love, humility, and compassion, no matter the outcome of this election. Let us reflect Your grace to those who may hold different opinions, remembering that every person is made in Your image and is deeply loved by You. As families, may we come together to model this love in our homes, teaching our children to put their hope not in politics, but in You alone.

As we cast our votes, we ask that You guard our hearts against being influenced by worldly values, but that we be guided by Your Word, placing Your principles above all else and voting in reflection of those values. Let us seek the greater good, not worshipping a person or position, but looking to You for wisdom and discernment in all things. May our choices reflect our desire to serve You and to bring Your light into this world, no matter the political climate. (Continued in comments.)

We don’t do Halloween, but we sure love Fall, y’all! God fills this season with such whimsy—crunchy leaves to jump in, chilly air that gives us rosy cheeks, and cozy sweaters that feel like hugs! We’re soaking up every pumpkin, bonfire, and s’more with grateful hearts, knowing each little joy is a gift from above. Fall is His reminder to slow down, laugh more, and find fun in the simple things. Here’s to making sweet memories, sharing big smiles, and celebrating the season in all its playful wonder!
