Freedom Academy

Eagle, Idaho School

Our mission is to support each child and parent who enters our doors to discover and embrace their identity in Christ, so they can find their God-given calling and become the world-changers God created them to be.

About Freedom Academy

Entrepreneurial, Faith-Based Education

Mastery of Core Academic Skills

Students in learner-driven environments not only quickly advance through their Reading, Writing, and Math, but also become more skilled in the real-world application of their lessons, as we focus heavily on applied academics.

A Love Of Learning

We believe that every child has been given God-given gifts, and it’s our duty to create the opportunity for every child to discover their gifts, and then rigorously hone them over time. We do this by honoring each child – their work, abilities, and power.

Accountability And Leadership

Students are responsible for managing their time and schedule according to their top priorities. Students have the opportunity to gain freedom and responsibility through their contributions and actions in class.

Happier, Connected Families

We believe in transparency and participation with parents. As such, parents, students and guides (teachers) work together to build each child’s annual learning plan. This fuels more opportunities for parents and their children work together to achieve their goals and thrive.

Our Learner-Driven Community puts children at the center of their learning, allowing them to learn who they are in God’s image, what they love, and how to turn that love into a life-long, world-changing passion.

Freedom Academy has been an absolute blessing for my eight year old son. Recently after pick up my son looked at me and said “Thank you for taking me out of (last private Christian school we attended) and putting me at freedom academy. Learning is actually fun!” Those words are music to any mamas... ears! The school has created a relaxed learning environment, made academic learning interesting, fun, creative and has taught my son to think for himself. Our children are at school more hours than they are home with us. So knowing what they are being taught was so important to our family. We feel everything the school has to offer aligns with our beliefs at home.We took a chance on a new school and boy am I glad we did!!read more

Freedom Academy is a blessing to our family! I wasn’t sure where my 14 year old should go, starting her high school years. She has attended two of the big Christian schools in the treasure valley. At Freedom Academy my daughter is loved, seen, heard, and cared for. She is learning at her own pace,... the way she wants to. She is not a number, not a robot. It is about her and what she needs. She is allowed time, space, and independence. She is given the opportunity to learn what she wants to! No government control. Ashley and the guides have poured so much into her and it’s only been two months! I can’t imagine what four years at Freedom Academy will bring!read more

My son LOVES this school – from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. Freedom Academy integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of faith, values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons giving children more confidence... when asking questions, engage in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers. Great team – great school!read more

I have 3 kids ages 5, 7, & 11. All three are so happy to attend freedom academy everyday. They love the christian environment and the four day school week is a perfect balance for us to have our family time as well. We would highly recommend this school to any of our friends and family. The kids... get to discover their strengths and focus on them as well as the core subjects. Truly a unique school!!read more

Freedom Academy has been the vision of a school we've imagined, that now actually exists. We have our 2 youngest at this school, and they are thriving in confidence, security, faith and academics. One of the most important elements to education we wanted for our kids, is to be critical thinkers,... and have the ability to formulate answers to problems, that didn't fall into a particular box of expectations. But celebrate and support how they were designed to think and be. Having each child with their own individualized curriculum, has been the greatest gift.We had our girls at a private school last year and they would come home with heaps of papers and workbooks to complete, and it would end in tears of frustration (both kids & parents) as we had NO CLUE how to help them, as they were being taught differently than we were and could eve comprehend. And NO, I was not going to rely on YouTube to teach me Common Core Math, so I could help my kid.I can't say enough great things about Freedom Academy, Ashley & Eric and the incredible educators for our girls. They are a gift from God and truly love on their little minds & hearts, as if they were their own.read more
